Madhavi Devi
Madhavi Devi knew without a doubt songwriting was her calling from a young age. From performing her latest notebook entries in the elementary school parking lot to dominating talent show stages with ballads about her middle school crush, it’s no surprise she’s grown into the New Jersey music scene. She grew up busking on the Asbury Park boardwalk, playing open mics throughout her hometown of Ocean County, and worked her way up to playing iconic venues like The Stone Pony and The Asbury Lanes. Madhavi is known for leaving her audiences stunned with honest, intimate lyricism and expansive, all-encompassing tracks. After touring throughout New England, playing a variety of music festivals including headlining her home Pride festival in Toms River, New Jersey, Madhavi continues to move forward with her art and expand her audience live and online. She works to celebrate the human experience in all of its highs and lows, making the soundtrack to her loneliest moments, sharing music as a uniting force of feeling.
